2018 Confirmation Class begins Sunday, January 21st. In preparation for Bp Kendrick's annual visit on March 11th, we will gather to discuss what Confirmation/ Reception/Re-dedication is all about and what it means to be an Episcopalian. Our journey begins today following the 10am Eucharist. We will explore our church's origins, history, doctrine, impacts, organization and even a tour of our Book of Common Prayer. Most importantly, we will explore our own hearts and thoughts on what it means to be part of our local parish community. Fr Bill and Fr Jeff will facilitate the discussions, and you'll be provided a book to help you explore our traditions on your own. It is never too late to join.

An invitation to the Men of the Church. On Thursday, January 25th at 6pm there will be a get together for the men of the church in the Parish Hall. The purpose is to provide an opportunity to come together in fellowship, to meet someone we may not know, break bread together and enjoy some fellowship. Please bring a brown bag dinner; tea & coffee provided. This is an opportunity to just “BE”. No commitments, no stuff to do, no things to fix, no places to go.

Cursillo 160 will be held January 24th-28th. Anyone wanting to send something to the Pilgrims or Staff may do so by placing it into the box marked “Palanca” on the table in the Parish Hall. There are also applications for the upcoming Cursillo weekends which are held free of charge at Camp Beckwith. More information may be found at www.coastalpilgrims.com.

T’ai Chi returns. Chuck & Danielle Stone will offer four sessions on t’ai chi in February, if there is enough interest. The course will be a continuation of what was offered last year, with the Temple warm-ups, the International 10 forms, and perhaps a beginning of the International 24 forms. Class will be held on Saturday, February 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 10am to 11:30am in Nabors Hall. Please sign-up in the Parish Hall if you are interested in attending.
